“Nihil difficile volenti”, nothing is difficult for those who truly desire it.

I deeply believe that determination, a touch of positivity, and the courage to listen to oneself can change the course of a life. My name is Federica Formicola, and Kairos is my dream, born long before it took shape.

I grew up in the province of Naples, but it was far from home that I began to understand who I was. In Siena, during my university years studying Pharmacy, I realized that path was not for me, and while studying something that didn't feel mine, I looked elsewhere for a space to breathe. I found it in vintage markets, among forgotten clothes and accessories to reinvent; I transformed them with studs, fabrics, details, and then sold them online. It wasn't just a job; it was freedom, it was expression.

The desire to change course and pursue fashion was not easily accepted, and not to disappoint those I loved, I continued for years on a path that didn't feel mine, accumulating fatigue and inner silences. Until a difficult moment arrived, one of those that either break you or force you to truly look at yourself.

That's when I made the most important choice: to put myself first. Against all expectations, I attended tailoring, patternmaking, and fashion design courses. I reopened my dream drawer and, with infinite patience, created a small collection of denim bags with leather inserts. They weren't perfect; they were mine.

I started selling them on Instagram, one step at a time, without a precise plan but with a very clear vision: to create something that spoke of uniqueness, of time, of conscious choices.

Today my dream has not yet arrived, but it is closer. If you are reading this story, it is because I have taken another step forward, and every step, even the smallest, shortens the distance between who we are and who we wish to become.

Kairos is all of this: it is my journey, my fears, my sacrifices, and my courage; it is the beauty of imperfection, the value of the right time, the choice not to be like anyone else. And this story is just the beginning.
